School Meal Price Increase

New School Meal Price from 6th June 2022

With effect from 6th June 2022 there will be a price increase on some items on the lunch menu. The cost of a meal deal will rise from £2.20 to £2.40 per day. As such the daily free school meal allowance will also rise to £2.40 per day.

Hutchison Catering are committed to providing a quality service and healthy meal to your child but are currently faced with several market factors, mainly the cost of sourcing quality ingredients at a competitive price.

I attach an updated tariff for your information and am pleased to advise that the tariff for break food remains unchanged at the current time. If you think you might be eligible for free school meals, we can send you a form to complete which you can return to us to forward to the local authority on your behalf. Your application will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.

Cashless System

Our canteen operates using a cashless system and our preferred payment method is ParentPay. Parents are requested to kindly ensure their child’s account is topped up before they wish to purchase food. Alternatively, if your child brings cash into school they are required to deposit this into their dinner money account using the machine near the school library.

May I thank you most sincerely for your continued support. If you have any queries regarding school meals or the cashless system please do not hesitate to contact the school office
